Driven by the lack of affordable fresh and healthy Asian food options, we decided to open our own restaurant after our return from a long trip across Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
The idea was to create our own space, a vibrant restaurant with a young and informal atmosphere and with amazing fresh, healthy and affordable

Street Food
Our food concept is inspired by the traditional Vietnamese “Street Food” cuisine, which we enjoyed so much during our travels across the country. This experience planted the seeds for a casual restaurant concept where quality, hand-picked ingredients are used to cook healthy and aromatic dishes.
La Vietnamita Street Food Deli was born in 2009, in the heart of Gracia, a popular, residential neighbourhood in Barcelona. This first intimate restaurant was dedicated to passionate Street Food lovers from all over the city, close friends, families and locals.
Not long after receiving an overwhelming positive response by guests and friends, we opened a slightly bigger restaurant in the stylish neighbourhood of Born, offering a selection of Asian tapas.
Now after 7 years of hard work and having achieved a growing number of customers, we decided to take a big step and open our largest restaurant in the neighbourhood of Sant Antoni.
This time introducing new and surprising dishes from our last trips to Vietnam and utterly embracing the concept of “Street Food Deli”.
Our new menu includes dishes such as Asian hotpots, grilled fish or meat and vegetables skewers.
“Eat good, feel good” is our mantra. Our healthy and tasty food can be enjoyed in a casual atmosphere in any of our four restaurants. Our aim is to temporarily transport our customers to a culinary journey around the streets of Hanoi.
